Steven Krein is the CEO and co-founder of StartUp Health. Since the company launched in 2011, StartUp Health’s mission has been to improve the health and wellbeing of everyone in the world by organizing, supporting and investing in a global army of entrepreneurs working to achieve 10 “Health Moonshots,” each of which will improve the lives of at least one billion people.

Steven is a serial entrepreneur, speaker, investor, advisor and entrepreneurial coach. Prior to StartUp Health, Steven co-founded and led several technology companies including OrganizedWisdom, Promotions.com and Webstakes, a global online advertising, direct marketing and technology company, which he took public on Nasdaq in 1999 before it was acquired by iVillage in 2002. In 1994, Steven helped launch Law Journal Extra!, now known as Law.com, the first online legal news and information publisher.
Steven received his J.D. degree from Delaware Law School and B.A. degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. Steven is a member of Young Presidents’ Organization and lives in New York City with his wife and three daughters.
