Dr. Asutosh T. Yagnik started his career in academic research and pharmaceutical R&D at the interfaces between drug/vaccine design, x-ray crystallography, virology and cell gene therapy. Leveraging this sector experience, his career pivoted into management consulting, initially as a senior consultant with Gemini Consulting (now Cap Gemini), in their Strategy and Transformation practice. He has over 18 years of experience in the sector working internationally with a range of companies from start-ups to large blue-chip multinationals and across a wide range of industries including energy, financial services, health care, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, professional services, public sector and telecoms.
He is founder and managing director of AdSidera Ltd., a leadership coaching and management consulting firm with a proven record of helping CEOs and their leadership teams to build new businesses, define strategies, solve complex challenges and implement practical solutions that deliver sustainable business benefits. As a certified executive coach he also works closely with high–caliber C–suite professionals to maximize their leadership skills and increase their value potential. He is currently a senior partner at Aura Capital Partners, an independent, management-owned consulting and corporate advisory firm serving the owners, boards and senior management of organizations specializing in high technology and knowledge–led industry sectors. He is also a senior fellow at the Institute for Strategy, Resilience and Security at University College London, which focuses on helping organizations to better face existential threats and disruptive innovation that are not addressed by conventional strategy and forecasting in a fast changing, networked world.
Asutosh holds undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications from Exeter University, U.K., a Financial Times postgraduate Non–Executive Director diploma, and is a published Chartered Chemist, Chartered Scientist, member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, member of the Institute of Directors and a fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce. He is an ardent supporter of sustainable development and renewable energy, and feels strongly about giving back to society, which is reflected in the pro bono work he does with charities and the not–for–profit sector.
