EARTH’S CALL, founded by Michael D. Fitzpatrick, is the forthcoming global broadcast event using music as the medicine to bring humanity together to care for each other and for our common home, Earth. EARTH’S CALL’s lead partner is the Cura Foundation, in concert with the Pontifical Council for Culture and its Science and Faith – STOQ Foundation. Gianfranco Cardinal Ravasi, President of the Pontifical Council for Culture, stated: “A global broadcast event designed to awaken a climate of compassion for each other and for the Earth itself fulfills Pope Francis’ statement: ‘It seems clear to me that climate change is a problem which can no longer be left to a future generation. When it comes to the care of our common home, we are living at a critical moment of history.’ EARTH’S CALL provides an unprecedented platform with the potential of reaching billions of beautiful souls.” EARTH’S CALL brings together Messengers and Musicians of Conscience from all the cultures of the world, accompanied by The Earth Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Steven Mercurio, former conductor of the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremonies Concert, live streamed to the world on May 18, 2019, from the high mountains of Aspen, Colorado. The late Sir George Martin, Producer of The Beatles, stated: “Michael Fitzpatrick is beyond a marvelous talent, and I could not agree with him more: Music is the only thing that can change the world.”
