Lou Reese is an entrepreneur and investor, specializing in identifying growth opportunities and structuring deals. He is currently the Co-CEO of and serves on the executive committee of United Biomedical, Inc. (UBI), a multinational biopharmaceutical company, dedicated to the discovery and development of immunotherapeutics and vaccines for chronic and infectious diseases, including a functional cure for HIV and a vaccine for Alzheimer’s. His companies continue to push the boundaries of what is thought to be possible, as demonstrated through the commercialization of the world’s first synthetic peptide vaccine and the current vaccination of a quarter of the world’s swine-approximately 500 million pigs a year.

Under his founding leadership, United Neuroscience was spun-out of UBI with the goal to democratize brain health leveraging UBI’s platform technology.

Through his work leading UBI Group of Companies, Lou has become an expert in bridging cultural divides between doing business in the United States, China and Taiwan. He currently serves as an advisor to the National Intelligence Council and is co-founder of JGG Holding with pioneering investments in sustainable real estate, renewable energy, biotech and more. Recently, Lou was placed on the board of the LIU Global Institute as founding director. Lou is also a founder of Give To Cure, the world’s first non-profit that crowdfunds promising clinical trial research and a partner member of VIA Art Fund, a novel non-profit that sponsors art installations that foster thought leadership and public engagement.
